MVS To Unix Sort Converter - Convert MVS To Unix - Sort MVS To Unix

For variable length records, the MVS to UNIX Sort Converter generates either UNIX text file or variable file sorts.

The Converter defines mapping between MVS dataset names and UNIX filenames, and can be set to retain the original JCL as comments in the shell file or generate only the UNIX shell script. The Converter will place non-sort-related JCL into the shell script file for further processing.

In cases where additional information is required, the syncgrep command allows the user to scan the generated text files for messages.

Technical Support

SyncSort technical support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
