Impact Analysis evaluates the effect of changing a specific variable and displays that effect graphically in the DMExpress GUI. You can trace all of the places where a specific data item is referenced by analyzing the metadata flow within the Job Editor.
Lineage Analysis identifies which input variables contribute to the value of a specific output variable. You can trace all of the places where a specific data item is referenced by analyzing the metadata flow within the Job Editor.
Global Find allows you to identify which jobs and tasks are affected when you need to change your applications. This can be a useful first step in impact analysis or lineage analysis by locating all of the jobs where an item of interest occurs.
