The Backup Express reporting package is a set of browser-based system management tools that provides real-time monitoring of backup and restore jobs, system usage, and storage trends. It generates enterprise-level summary information that helps administrators optimize storage, backup, and archive processing within the context of overall system activity. From a single Web-based management interface, viewable from any machine that can access the reporting server, it gives administrators the ability to easily assess current and historical activity throughout the Backup Express enterprise.
Backup Express Reporter for Backup helps administrators schedule and monitor backups for completion within a predefined processing window to reduce the load on servers, clients, and the network.

Backup Express SRM is an optional, separately licensable feature that performs file analysis across hosts to reclaim storage resources. Backup Express SRM requires Backup Express Reporter for Backup.
Dozens of pre-defined system reports enable administrators to monitor system activity, including disk, multiprocessor, and network performance; event logs; up/down time per group, host, and operating system; detailed NAS statistics; and storage analysis by file age, file rules, and file type usage at all system levels.
Backup Express Reporter for NetApp is an optional, separately licensable feature that monitors NetApp storage devices. Backup Express Reporter for NetApp requires Backup Express Reporter for Backup.
