Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, July 10, 2003 – SyncSort, the high-performance technology to reduce applications' elapsed time, from Syncsort Incorporated, has just earned the Certified for Microsoft® Windows® certification through VeriTest, the testing division of Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIOX).
As the exclusive provider of independent testing for the Certified for Microsoft Windows program, VeriTest tested SyncSort to confirm that it meets or exceeds Microsoft's strict criteria for installation, performance, functionality, reliability and availability.
The extensive and rigorous testing conducted by VeriTest includes stress testing the software on a Unisys ES7000 32-way server in combination with 4 8-way IBM eServer xSeries 370 servers in a cluster. The tests included multi-node high-availability scale-out scenarios demonstrating cluster failover without causing system instability, correct use of high memory, proper use of Active Directory, and validation of 24x7 Datacenter-level support.
