New Syncsort Professional Services Maximize Return on Data Protection Investments

BEX Check. This service determines whether a user’s data protection and recovery system is deployed for maximum efficiency and reliability. It delivers recommendations and best practices to ensure business continuity and immediate cost savings. Sources of savings include capital purchase avoidance through optimized utilization of hardware (including disk and tape), backup window reduction through optimized job schedules, and reduced down time and troubleshooting time through improved backup success rates.

BEX Assessment/Upgrade Service. With this service, BEX users work hand-in-hand with BEX engineers to optimize their data protection systems, reducing costs, resource requirements, and administrative time, while ensuring fast, highly reliable recovery. This is accomplished in three steps: a complimentary workshop designed to bring data protection issues into sharp focus, an in-depth assessment resulting in a roadmap to raise your data protection systems and procedures to then next level, and deployment of that roadmap including expert implementation of BEX upgrades combined with system and process optimization.

BEX DR Test Assist. This onsite service helps users execute their Disaster Recovery Testing quickly and efficiently. BEX DR Test Assist has been shown to lower both the time and cost of DR test activities by 20 percent or more, thereby reducing expenditures on third party test site visits, equipment leasing, and internal personnel.
