Big Data Software Support Engineer

Syncsort is looking for candidates with the drive to solve complex issues and develop unique solutions to make our customers successful. Our customers depend on the highly skilled technical engineers to in our customer support group to help drive the success of their DMX and DMX-h installations. Strong problem solving skills, communication, and the ability to develop creative solutions are a must. This position is based out of Syncsort’s HQ office in Pearl River, NY.

Business Development Manager - Mainframe

Syncsort is seeking an experienced, senior-level Business Development Manager for our Mainframe Business Unit. The focus of this position will be to develop new and existing partners for our growing Mainframe product portfolio. Requirements may include international partner development. Our ideal candidate has a background in IBM z/OS software sales and related business development. The candidate should have some field sales experience in their background, as interacting and working with the field sales team will be critical. Direct experience in IBM z/OS Utility Software and z/OS Enterprise Software is preferred.

Mainframe Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer position will be responsible to play a significant role within a Field Pre-Sales organization for selling System z (IBM mainframe) products. This position may require 5-10 days per month of travel throughout the assigned territory as well as participating in conference/calls in multiple time zones in Asia, EMEA and the US.

Senior Product Manager - Ironstream/Mainframe

The "Sr. Product Manager – Ironstream / Mainframe" will be responsible for the product lifecycle management and market strategy of the Syncsort Mainframe Business Unit’s ‘Big Iron to Big Data’ (BIBD) products and services, including existing Ironstream products and future Ironstream derivatives. This position will report to the Director of Product Management & Marketing, Mainframe Business Unit and be based in the Pearl River, NY area. Travel to customer sites, industry events, etc. to gather insights and other information is part of this role.

System Administrator

Syncsort is looking for an experienced System Administrator.  The primary function of this position is to evaluate, design, and maintain the local area network and associated services. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting LAN/WAN and data network problems, administer departmental shared software and hardware, administer local servers, Active Directory, run necessary system backups and provide technical support for PCs and LAN network.  This will be based out of the Burlington, Massachusetts office, and  will report to the Manger of Systems Administration.
