Course Description:
DMExpress Essentials teaches students the features of Syncsort DMExpress including how to build and run data integration jobs. Course topics include how to build DMExpress jobs and tasks that read and write data to and from a variety of data stores including flat files, mainframe sources, and relational tables. Also, students will learn how to build jobs that process data in a variety of ways: business transformations, data filtering, data combining, sorting, and aggregating.

This course is intended for pre- and post- sales system engineers, administrators, and professional services and support personnel who will be installing, configuring, administering, managing and/or troubleshooting a DMExpress environment.

Pre-requisites:
To understand the content and successfully complete this course, a student must have a suitable knowledgebase/skill set. The student must have:

- Database fundamentals
- Knowledge of third-party or proprietary systems that feed or extract information from DMExpress

In order to continue to provide this level of training to our partners at no fee, Syncsort Education Services has implemented the following cancellation policy.
All requests to change a registration must be in writing via e-mail to SyncsortEd@Syncsort.com. Students may cancel more than 15 days from the start of the class with no penalty.
- Within 15 days of the start of the class, students will be accessed 50% of the class fee. Or may reschedule.
- 0-15 calendar days prior to class-100% of class fee due
