Technical Support Engineer

The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for the technical support of the SharePoint, SQL and Dynamics CRM and GP environments. The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for planning, installation, security, maintenance and troubleshooting of the environment.

Job Duties :

  • Support and administration of SharePoint 2007/2010.
  • Support and administration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0/2011 and Dynamics GP.
  • Support and administration of SQL 2008 and SQL 2008 R2 servers.
  • Administration of Windows 2003/2008 servers for SQL, SharePoint and Dynamics environments.
  • Architecture and design as relating to SharePoint, SQL and Dynamics environments.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as time permits.
  • Assist with business continuity planning and execution for these environments.
  • Provide support to internal customers.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience with SharePoint, SQL and Dynamics CRM and GP.
  • 4+ years experience in a 24x7 high-availability production environment.
  • 4+ years experience with Windows Server 2003 and above.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010.
  • Knowledge of TMG Server, load balancers and firewalls.
  • Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Windows scripting and other automation techniques.
  • Experience with VMware.
  • Strong working knowledge of IP networking.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to perform maintenance or address production issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills, as well as good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to be on-call for one week every two months.
