Software Engineer

Highly motivated, creative engineering professional to provide technical support for customers and sales personnel through telephone and email channels. The engineering professional will develop applications for customers and sales prospects using our high-performance data management products as well as design and develop product enhancements. Candidate must possess strong problem determination skills, efficient and effective communication skills while working in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly technical environment. BS Comp Eng + 1 yr exp.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing telephone and email technical support to customer and sales personnel
• Developing product-oriented applications in a variety of technological environments
• Investigating, researching and analyzing technical software system components
• Debugging and development of high-performance Data Management products
• Writing functional specifications and Help changes
• Delivering product demonstrations at industry trade shows and customer sites
• Delivering product training at customer sites

Requirements:

• Computer science or engineering related degree (MS and higher with GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred)
• Effective, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, commitment, drive and enthusiasm
• Strong time management skills
• Strong desire to learn and ability to learn quickly
• Willingness to travel
• Operating systems and database systems background preferred
