Primary Job Duties:
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
- Author, develop and manage compelling marketing communications campaigns and materials for entire product/solution/services launches and create messaging and collateral materials used in lead generation and awareness activities
- Create, edit and maintain product and solution content for Syncsort corporate website
- Ensure all corporate marketing communications adhere to branding requirements and effectively position and promote the company and its solutions
- Maintain a complete library of marketing collateral, keep all materials up to date, and ensure accurate materials are shared with, and used by, sales, partners, resellers and Syncsort employees Corporate Communications (Internal)
- Maintain and manage a variety of internal communications for Syncsort to connect and engage employees, including intranet
- Recommend and implement Communications that increase company-wide awareness of Marketing initiatives and Syncsort’s success, with a goal of enhancing employee engagement
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Manage the execution of Syncsort's annual marketing plans, maintaining and adhering to agreed-upon schedules and budgets
- Manage stakeholders by communicating and coordinating with product marketing, sales and strategic alliances teams to ensure marketing collateral/activities meet identified needs
- Coordinate with other departments and vendors to develop and produce specific deliverables requiring graphics (creative agency of record), programming (email marketing) or specific data pulls (IT/datacenter)
- Regular reporting on campaign activities that measure ROI and leads analysis. Make recommendations on program improvements
Required Experience:
- Extraordinary writing skills, with the samples to prove it. You should have written compelling marketing communications materials for the entire “client engagement lifecycle,” from materials used in lead generation, to presentations and proposals for closing client deals, to formal business reviews for existing clients
- Minimum 6-10 years experience in marketing communications management, or public relations, preferably with a enterprise software technology company
- Experience in business writing and B2B marketing
- Demonstrated project management and budget responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, with a major in English, communications, marketing or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook
